•           - Hotels marked with one or two palm trees are Department of General Services "green-certified" hotels. The palm trees indicate

                       their level of participation in the program: one palm tree indicates "participation level" or entry level status; and two palm trees

                       indicate "leadership level" or the highest level of program participation.

•  FEMA - Federal Emergency Management Agency - fire safety preventative measures (sprinklers and smoke  detectors)
